How to Put Those Oils to Work.

I went to target yesterday, mostly because I was starting to feel the communal panic of this COVID-19 virus and also because I go to target 8 out of the 7 days a week;).

I found myself in the cleaning section and had a rapid fire conversation in my head about how everything must get cleaned, we must clean everything! I started loading my cart with natural cleaners and soaps and what-nots and then I had a moment of clarity-If we do, in fact, get quarantined, am I really going to be spending my time at home cleaning?

That’s a big fat NO.

So I walked myself off the ledge and did what most plant loving hippies do and took my cute butt to the aisle that houses the magical bottles of white vinegar. And, might I add, while the aisles of Lysol, bleach, and Mr. Clean were all empty, there was an abundance of this liquid gold. Because when you mix vinegar with essential oils, the cleaning power is unstoppable.

I have a mighty fine collection of essential oils (some might call it an obsession…) and thanks to the Loyalty Reward Program through doTERRA that gives you a free oil every month, I truly can say that I have every oil that they offer. I AM PREPARED- the modern-day dooms day prepper LOL.

To ease your minds maybe a little, I wanted to share with you some of the oils that are great for cleaning and some recipes to help get you feeling like you are actually getting your house clean without introducing harmful chemicals into your sanctuary. And, honestly, if we are quarantined in our homes, the last thing you want to be breathing in is something that can harm you, your kiddos and your pets- isn’t that what we are trying to avoid in the first place?

Chances are you already have some of these oils on hand, and if you don’t, I’ve got your back 😉

In good health,
